With the introduction of Home Information Packs approaching and the industry concerned about the impact this may have on the housing market Eleys Estate Agents made the move to team up with MoveMachine as their sole HIP provider.
The HIP introduction has seen the market slow initially with, in our opinion, sellers reluctant in putting property’s on the market due to HIPs. At Eleys, we were initially very concerned about Home Information Packs, their impact on the housing market and to our business in particular. We were uncertain about the whole process including aspects such as speed of delivery, payment options and the order process. These fears were thankfully eased by the appointment of MoveMachine as our HIP provider. The whole process from top to bottom has been made very simple with their online ordering system in which in-house training was provided. With a variety of payment schemes, all recently updated, there is an option available for every client. Behind the scenes there is a hard working customer services team that are able to assist us as an agent no matter what time of day. The whole service is overseen by a dedicated account manager who deals with any matters of concern.
Overall the whole HIP process has been made to be very straight forward and most of all easy to implement. I feel that after speaking to other industry associates this is not always the case.
